Kodak Event Imaging Solutions (KEIS) has been launched at the Waterfront Boat Company during January 2011.The operation is overseen by Jenny and Lachlan Young .We can now offer high quality instanly printed high res photographs to all passengers on our vessels .
Kodak Event Imaging Solutions (KEIS) is one of the most prosperous arms within the Eastman Kodak (Rochester, New York) family of business modules. KEIS offers instant event imaging souvenir photography particularly within the tourism sector. This is translated as high quality instantly-printed, jacket-covered high-res photographs and coffee books (among a series of merchandise). These are sold on to the visitor at a reasonable and fair cost as a souvenir memory of the experience.
Kodak is acutely environmentally conscious with stringent policies in place worldwide, maintaining a wholly paperless business operation. Reporting and recording is managed online via a vastly intelligent Internet network that simultaneously services over 450 sites around the globe. As an example: aside from business cards and demo products, giant touch screens are in place at international trade fairs and exhibitions, greatly reducing paper wastage & logistical costs while enhancing client interaction. All site media waste is recorded, reshipped and recycled.
In setting up a new operation, Patented and advanced technological photographic equipment is delivered and installed at KEIS’s chosen partners. The KEIS concept is not the typical Kodak Kiosk where visitors are able to develop their own film – it is a concept manned by a team of bright, intelligent, fully trained local personnel that manage the on-site turnkey operation in its entirety.
Renowned worldwide and hugely accepted by the travelling and visiting public, this business has grown from a meagre US$1.2 million in the late-90s to an overwhelming US$400m.
Operating worldwide and in particular smothering the USA - the 2nd most successful operation is in Dubai, UAE. KEIS also operates in Europe, Jamaica, Philippines, Singapore, India, Bahrain, Australia, China, Indonesia and has now launched its first Africa operation here in Cape Town, South Africa.
